Strategically Placed in History

Every morning, you need to remind yourself, “I was strategically placed here at this time in history by my good, good Father for His glorious purposes and miraculous plans.”

The Creator of the universe needed someone just like you alive in the world today to love the unlovable…to show joy to a dark, cold world…to bring peace into arguments and confusing situations…and to be kind at times when our culture is desolately cruel.

We were created by God to reveal His heart and to do His good works during this singular moment in all of recorded time. There is a lack of “Godness” on this earth, and so He sent us to bring His love and healing to a world in pain. We got the job, sister! It is our grand destiny!

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10 NASB)

The Greek word translated “workmanship” depicts someone putting forth their fullest creative abilities in order to achieve something. God designed you as a masterwork of the rarest and most valuable kind. The same artistic Genius who made the redwood forests, Victoria Falls, and the White Cliffs of Dover has placed us at the very top of His creative resume! I love this particular quote that I came across: “Isn’t it astounding that the same God who created mountains and oceans and galaxies looked at the world and thought that it needed one of you too?”

As you walk in God’s unspeakably splendid plans, you will miraculously find that your calling in life is being fulfilled. You will discover the unmatchable objective of living every day in Christ. You will celebrate the purpose of pointing other searchers to Him.

When you discover the very reason for which you were created and give yourself to that reason, then you, my friend, will reveal the glory of God in your life! When we find our passion in life, it will not be “work” to us, but rather a means of great fulfillment. If you are still struggling to figure out your purpose, then simply discover your passion. I believe that your passion will lead you directly into your purpose!

There is a world in pain that needs your voice, your time, your talents, your heart, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit that you exhibit in your life. People need the love of the Father that can only be revealed through the one and only you!
