Trustworthy

If you’ve experienced relationships in the past where people have let you down I have good news for you, Jesus is trustworthy. Jesus will never let you down, leave you, forsake you, or go back on His Word. You can trust Jesus. Even if you’ve failed to exhibit trustworthy behavior to others in the past, Jesus wants a real relationship with you. Don’t allow another day to go by where you count all your failures, downfalls, and mistakes as an indicator if you are worthy of a relationship with Jesus. Jesus is not counting your wrongs, but adding Christ in your life is always right. When Jesus is in relationship with you whatever he promises for your life, he will fulfill.  Jesus is reliable, dependable, faithful, loyal, and constant in his actions of covering, love, and provision for you.  When you trust Jesus as the LORD and Savior of your life you will undergo a transformation that some people won’t understand, especially if they knew who you were before your relationship with Christ. Jesus wants to be in relationship with you, so stop coming up with excuses on why you can’t begin the relationship and boldly invite him into your life today. In scripture Jesus was passing by and saw Levi (Matthew). Matthew was a tax collector and in that time tax collectors were detested as traitors. But when Jesus passed by he said to Levi, the one people despised, to follow Him. Imagine how many people Levi encountered that expressed their hate for him, but Jesus loved him and called Him. Levi received the invitation and followed Christ, leaving the past behind focusing on a future in a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus wants you to know that “Those who are healthy have no need of a physician, but only those who are sick;  I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners [who recognize their sin and humbly seek forgiveness]” (Mark 2:17). Jesus is calling you, not based on how right you think you have to be but he’s calling you because he knows you’ll only be right when He is first place in your life. Although people in your past relationships have labeled you as vile, detestable, and unworthy, Jesus says otherwise. Follow Jesus, and begin walking with Him, your life will never be the same.
