Growing In Resilience: A Prayer JourneySample
Resilience Practice: Prayer
Remember that God hears our prayers. This morning, ‘I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly’.
It is the privilege of every believer to have access to God, and to all the resources of heaven, through prayer.
The psalmist demonstrates his faith by bringing his requests to God and expecting God to answer.
‘Prayer is essentially a partnership of the redeemed child of God working hand-in-hand with God toward the realisation of His redemptive purposes on earth’ - Jack Hayford.

About this Plan
Whether confronted with difficult life events or extended periods of pressure, resilience helps us to emerge stronger, wiser, and with a deeper faith. Yet such resilience is not automatic – it involves behaviours, thoughts, and actions that are learned and practised over time. This 40-day prayer journey helps us develop practices to grow that resilience.
