Though Your Beginning Was Small...
“And though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase.” Job 8:7 AMPC
Though your beginning was small, God rewards the diligent — take the first step. Choose to submit to God. Take each step with God. Choose to try again. Choose to build again. Choose to launch “it” again. Whatever “it” may be. Choose to surrender “it” to God. Let God get the Glory out of your obedience.
Psalms 37:23 KJV declares, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” The Amplified Version puts it this way, “The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].” Psalm 37:23 AMPC. Busy yourself with God’s Word and let God order your steps. Let God lead and guide your steps. 2 Corinthians 5:7 NLT declares, “For we live by believing and not by seeing.”
Step out by faith. Step out when God tells you to step out. Step out with God. Step out in His timing. You may not see the entire vision yet — choose to faithfully take the first step. God rewards the faithful. God rewards your next step. Take that step. Make that call. Send that email. Choose to be led by God, pray, and follow His Instruction. Choose to obey God and execute.
“[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. [Gen. 15:5.] He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb. [Gen. 17:17; 18:11.] No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,” Romans 4:18-20 AMPC. Choose to believe. Choose to surrender to the One who rewards your faith and transform your obedience into an innumerable harvest.
Surrender to Him. Though your beginning was small, may God increase and bless the diligent work of your hands. May He increase you beyond your expectations. May He deliver you from your fears. May He conquer your foes and crush every frustration. May His favor shield you. May His favor cover you. May His favor go before you. May you find favor with kings. May He build your platforms. May He make your feet like hinds’ feet. May He strengthen your borders. May He enlarge you like Jabez. May He work through your hands. May He exceed all your expectations. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20 KJV
