Put On KindnessSample
Christ Forgave You.
Colossians 3:13 NLT declares, “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Choose to freely forgive others. Make an allowance for each other’s faults. In other words, exhibit grace towards others and forgive frequently and freely. Matthew 18:21-22 KJV declares, “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Forgive freely. Forgive frequently. Let the bondage of the past go. Let the offense go. Christ forgave you, so choose to forgive others.
Don’t let the stain of the offense taint your heart. Let the Love of Christ rule and reign in your heart. Let Christ Lord over you. Don’t let the chains of the offense keep you bound and enslaved to the bondage of the past. Your offense does not have to rule over you. Offense does not have to taint the ground of your heart. Your heart does not have to be enslaved by fear. Your heart does not have to be enslaved by pain. Your heart does not have to be enslaved by the hurt of the past. Let the offense go. Forgive. Move forward in Christ.
Christ freely forgave you. He washed away every offense. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you became new in Christ. His Blood purchased you. His Blood washed you. His Blood made you whole. There is no sin that His Blood cannot cover. The Blood of Jesus Christ is more powerful than your sin. If Christ forgave you, from all of your sin — choose to forgive others freely.
