The One: Lost

Fear is prevalent when we’re lost.

When we make decisions from that place of fear, we end up taking a road we didn’t want to, end up somewhere unrecognizable. We lose ourselves and all that matters.

Being lost has a spiritual fix. God doesn’t want any one of us to be scared or alone, living in darkness. He has light and love, mercy and grace in unlimited supply. His is a joy that makes us stronger and a peace that we can’t possibly comprehend.

When we no longer live lost, there is a warm garment of praise wrapped around us. We have traded our mourning to live in His joy. God has made us beautiful, shiny and new. It may make no sense that He would leave us to go after The ONE still lost—until we recall what it was like when we too, were living lost.

Prayer: Father pursue The ONE still lost in addiction, fear, powerlessness, darkness, bitterness, resentment, or anger with your great love. Leave the ninety-nine to save The ONE, and use me as an instrument, as the hands and feet of Jesus as you see fit, to go after The ONE you send to me to help today.
