The Good LifeSample
We all struggle with negative thoughts. We all struggle with using wise words. It’s part of being human! But because we all deal with harsh words and negative thoughts, we also know the impact they can have on our lives. That’s why the Psalmist gives us this prayer. When we’re tempted to use words that will hurt—words that aren’t pleasing to God—we can use this prayer. And when our hearts are tempted to give into negativity—into thoughts that aren’t pleasing to God—we can use this prayer. So write this verse down somewhere you’ll see it this week. Use it as a prayer to God, your Rock and Redeemer, who can help you have words and thoughts that better your life.
