Be Strong And Of A Good Courage

DAY 2 OF 3

Be Courageous.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Courage” is, ‘amats’ (H553) which means, “To be strong, alert, courageous, brave, stout, bold, solid or hard.” Any great athlete strengthens their mind before going into battle. Most battles are fought within the borders of the mind before the physical battle occurs. Let God strengthen your mind. Let His Word lead, train, and develop you. Focus on His Word. Let your mind digest His Word daily.

As you choose to focus and develop your walk with Christ, He will lead and guide your path. The development of your mental tenacity and spiritual fortitude are key to the success or failure of your race. Most battles are won or lost in the mind before they ever begin on the field. Condition your spirit man. Conditioning is critical to your success.

When you choose to intentionally feed your spirit, with the Word of God, you’re conditioning the ground of your heart. Courage comes as a result of your spiritual conditioning. Choose to trust God. Trust His Word. Repeatedly rehearse and implement His Word in every aspect of your life. Practice in private. Stick close to God in private. Let His Word guide your process.

Courage comes as a result of your confidence in God. When David faced Goliath, he was confident and conditioned for war. David had completed previous private victories before he faced Goliath. His track record with God, in private, gave him the courage to face Goliath in public. Before you face Goliath, choose to kill the lion and bear in private. Your private diligence will place you before kings. Let God build your track record.
