Reality

There’s so much mystery in the kingdom of God—such depth available for us to discover. Jesus, the eternal, creative Word is the divine expression of all that God is. He’s with God and yet is God. He’s a part of the Trinity, and yet Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are also separate. Some things make no sense to the natural mind. We can’t grasp many of the truths of the Bible with our understanding; they must be absorbed by our spirits until truth resonates so clearly that it cannot be denied. The tangible reality of what we cannot see yet know to be true is hard to explain with words.

We were created for the unimaginable, the wild, the inexplicable. Though we may not understand it, it’s become very real. Mystery intrigues us, excites us, and draws us closer. We’re often left with more questions, but these questions pull us like a magnet as we seek to know him more.

Jesus, the mystery of your kingdom fascinates me. I want to know in my heart what I cannot understand with my mind. I want to come face to face with the One who lives inside of me. Make yourself so real to me that momentary doubts or questions don’t stand a chance.
