You Were Built For ThisSample
God Gives Gifts.
You may be gifted but it takes discipline to master your craft. Education sharpens your gifts. When you submit your gifts to God, He will lead you, teach you, develop you and strengthen you. Sound teaching strengthens your foundation. You may be gifted, you may be called, you may even be talented, but even Paul states in 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Study. Learn the right way of doing things before you lead others — choose to submit. Submit to God’s Word and His Authority. Submit to His Instruction. Submit your heart and hands to God’s Way of doing things. Pray and ask God for wisdom. Ask God for wisdom as to how to steward the gifts that He has given you.
Whether you’re called to lead in Business, Government, Faith, Education, Media, Creative Arts or in your Family, education (both formal and informal instruction) are your tools to climb. If God has called you to a mountain, He will show you how to climb it. God gives you the power to climb.
Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV states, “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Power” is, ‘koach’ (H3581) which means, “Strength, power and might.” God gives you the strength, power and might to climb. He gives you the power to excel in every area of your life. What mountain(s) are you called to climb?
