Upgraded Inheritance

Do you ever wonder what Heaven will be like? We have this image in our brains of streets of gold, angels with harps flying around, this angelic opera sound coming from seemingly nowhere. But that’s not exactly what Heaven will be like.

Part of the inheritance we will receive as children of God is Heaven. Once we have chosen to love, trust, and follow Jesus, He invites us to share in eternal glory with God. We become co-heirs with Jesus. We will rule alongside Jesus as God’s children in Heaven. How cool is that?!

If you ever feel discouraged, lonely, or left out, remember God has a place for you. You are upgraded.

Ask yourself: Think of the happiest day you’ve ever experienced. Take a moment to wonder how that will compare to the awesomeness of Heaven.

Challenge yourself: Use the Scriptures you read today to make a list of what Heaven will actually look like and be like.

Pray: Father God, thank You for the promise of Heaven when we accept You. As Your child, I look forward to spending eternity in Your presence. Thank You for saving me a place. Help me live every day knowing I’ve been upgraded. In Jesus’ name, amen.
