Messengers Sample
If you stumbled upon the cure to cancer or Alzheimer’s or some other terrible disease, what would you do with it? Would you keep it to yourself? Would you share it?
While you don’t have the cure to some disease, you do have the one thing that can literally change people’s lives for eternity. Yet, we often hold back from sharing it? Why?
There’s a common belief that it’s wrong to share your faith with others because there is no one “right” way. It’s commonly accepted that there isn’t only one way to God, but that all religions and belief systems are all different paths up the same mountain. We are to tolerate and accept everyone no matter what they believe.
And yet, Jesus came saying things like, “I am the Way”.
And, if Jesus is right, not sharing your faith is wrong.
There is too much at stake not to share.
If you truly care for others, and you recognize that Jesus is the only way to find rescue, you have to share talk about it and share it! This is bigger than the cure to cancer or some disease, this is the way to life with God.
Have you held back from sharing Jesus with others?
What’s holding you back?

About this Plan
The last thing Jesus told his disciples was, “go and make disciples of all the nations”. We are called to be messengers - to share the good news of Jesus with others. In this plan, we’ll look at why it’s important to share our faith, some fears that hold us back, and what it looks like to actually share Jesus with others.
