Don’t Pick It Back Up. 

Cast your cares onto God and don’t pick them back up. Don’t let your cares grow into idols. Don’t let them lord over you. Don’t let your cares rule the ground of your heart. Don’t let them taint and contaminate the ground of your heart. Matthew‬ ‭6:31-34‬ ‭KJV‬‬ states, “Take no thought”. Guide your thoughts with the Word of God. Let God’s Word lead you. Choose to focus on God. Choose to let your heart meditate and dwell on God. 

Worrying is a choice. Worshipping is a decision. Fix your eyes on Christ. Trust Him and let God lead your path. Don’t focus on the storm — focus on God. God saw the storm before it formed. Lay at His feet and choose to Trust Him. He is the Lord over your circumstance. Nothing can defeat Him. Nothing can outrank Him. Choose to trust Him in every season. You choose who you will serve. God or your worries. Don’t worship your worries. Give them over to Him through prayer. 

Prayer: 

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I cast my cares over to You. Father, I give my heart over to You. Father, there is no care, concern or worry that can outrank You. Father, You are Lord over my life and I place my trust in You. I repent for exalting my cares and I choose to worship and focus on You. In Jesus Name. Amen.
