What Are You Hiding?

What you choose to hide in the ground of your heart will soon blossom. If you choose to hide and treasure God’s Word in the soil-bed of your heart you will reap His Promises. Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:1-2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ states, “IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.” 

Diligently plant the Word of God within the soil of your heart. Choose to diligently plant His Word in the fabric and blueprint of your life. Let His Word lead, guide and direct your path. When you diligently submit to His Word, in every area of your life, He will cause His Blessings to overtake you. Influence comes with obeying the Voice of God. Prosperity is a byproduct of your obedience. Choose to serve God not because of His benefits — choose to serve Him because of who He is. 

What are you hiding within the ground of your heart? What’s choking your harvest? “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” James‬ ‭4:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Maybe, it’s lust that’s embedded in the soil of your heart. Maybe you’re consumed by the lusts and cares of this world. 

“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Maybe you’re drawn away by your lusts. Choose to cancel sin’s assignment and guard your heart with His Word. Redirect your heart and worship God.
