My Heart Has Been Restored

DAY 1 OF 7

Sometimes it can be very easy to get bogged down in depression over past mistakes. If we let these unchecked emotions drag us down, it is close to impossible for us to see the light at the end of the tunnel. In times like these, it is vital that we hold on to the promise that we serve a God of TOTAL restoration!

As today’s verse shows, God promises to restore everything that we have lost and have compassion on us. There IS, however, a requirement for this restoration. As Deuteronomy 30:2 states, we have to turn back to God and obey him with our whole BEING according to everything that He commands us to do. True obedience, however, can only come from a heart that is full of love – a heart that has been forgiven for past mistakes by the God we serve. When we return to God in heartfelt repentance, an amazing thing happens. He forgives us! He does this out of His limitless love for us.

God WILL pick up the broken pieces of your life! I have seen this evidence over and over again, and it never ceases to amaze me. Because of God’s restoration, I have just been blessed with the beginning of a relationship with my precious daughter – a relationship which was hindered until now because of past mistakes. This restoration has contributed to me being the happiest man alive! If God can provide such a miracle in MY life, He can surely do the same for YOU!

So, for today, let us hold on to the promise that God WILL restore that which has been broken. He may not act immediately, but when He DOES act, that breakthrough will come at the PERFECT TIME! He will open doors that you would never have imagined could be opened. He is the God of true miracles! Let us not limit what He can restore, or what He can do! His power is LIMITLESS!

Day 2

About this Plan

My Heart Has Been Restored

God has limitless power to restore ANYTHING that may seem broken, hopeless, or impossible to repair. Sometimes all we have to do is wait on His redemption as we pray through our situation – even when it hurts. Without God we have no power to redeem ANYTHING. God is THE source of redemption. This plan has been inspired by God's restoration of my relationship with my daughter.
