Hannah

The story of Hannah is one of great faith, trust and thankfulness. Hannah could not bear children and she desperately prayed to God, asking that He might give her a son. Because of her great faith, God blessed her with a son named Samuel. In thankfulness to God, Hannah committed her son to the temple. There, he was  taught by Eli, a high priest whose life was dedicated to serving God. This inspiring story of faithfulness to God is a wonderful reflection of how God delivers on His promises to us.

As children of God, we must always seek to bring God glory through everything we face in life - even through our suffering. Hannah suffered from sadness as she could not bear children. Because she was faithful to the Lord and chose to praise Him even in the waiting, God blessed her with a son and she dedicated him back to the Lord in thankfulness. 

When we praise God, and give Him thanks for everything in our lives, He blesses us. Even though some days can be tough, we must choose to praise Him and always remember that God wants the best for us. He does all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Thank God today for His goodness and His great love for you and always remember that God knows the desires of your heart. Let’s be the ones who will Praise Him in the waiting.
