Ezekiel declares each person will be judged on their own conduct. Ezekiel must now sing a lament about a prince/lion dragged to Egypt and one dragged to Babylon. He rebukes hypocritical elders seeking God’s help.
Note Ezekiel 19: The prince/lion dragged into Egypt was King Jehoahaz (see Day 3), and the one dragged to Babylon was King Jehoiachin – taken by Nebuchadnezzar in 600 BC (see Day 11).
