Even with different kings in control, the letters in opposition to the project continue. The prophets Haggai and Zechariah encourage the people to continue to work even though they have not been given the go-ahead from the king. When God has clearly told us what to do, we need to move forward regardless of the opposition.

This is part three of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
