Upsidedown Kingdom - Lessons from the Sermon on the Mount

DAY 18 OF 49

As we learned from the Pharisees, it can be somewhat easy to fool people into thinking that we are holy, and pious, and good. However, we can’t fool God with our attention-seeking antics. God sees directly into our hearts. The truths that are conveyed in this psalm can either be comforting or uncomfortable…but the more familiar we are with the character of God the more we actually seek out his careful examination. Today spend some time being brave and opening yourself up to the greatest cardiologist…the one who knows everything about you and chooses to love you still!

As you read the following scripture, take a few moments to meditate on the word of God, then respond to the following questions:

  1. What has God revealed to you about His kingdom?
  2. What has God revealed to you about the King?
  3. What has God revealed to you about being a citizen of the new kingdom?
  4. Now, ask the Holy Spirit to provide you opportunities to live into God's kingdom today!

About this Plan
