The Wise Woman Enjoys Part OneSample

Dear Sweet Mamas!
How is your summer going? I pray your time with your kids at home is fun! It will be over before you know it!
The phrase, “The days are long but the years are short” is so true! I really miss the days when my children were in my home.
Even though many of the days felt stressful and tiring, I would still start over from day one. I can honestly say that asking God to help me to “savor the days” with my kids really made a difference in my attitude and my heart.
When we pray verses such as Psalm 39:4, “Show me, LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is,” it helps us to enjoy the days with our family instead of taking them for granted.
My challenge for you this week is to write this verse on a little card and keep it at your kitchen sink. Make them your life’s prayer for this season with your kids at home.
It’s going to be a great summer! We are praying for you!
With love,
Deb Weakly and the Help Club For Moms Team
Ps- One of my favorite parts of summer with my kids was having extra time to learn about Jesus together. For a great list of books to help you share Christ with your kids be sure to check out this great article on our website called, "Start a Breakfast Basket Routine."
