90 Days Of Prayer: Daily Prayer Through PsalmsSample
Read Psalm 77 today.
What is the psalmist expressing to God through his questions?
What does the psalmist decide to do (verse 10-12)?
What are the deeds that God has done?
When we are deeply discouraged, we can choose to remember and meditate on what God has done.
As you reflect on this, pray in these ways and any other way the Holy Spirit leads.
- That we would bring patience to listening to those who need to process things out loud.
- That we would be slow to speak when someone is discouraged, giving them space to fully express their thoughts and feelings.
- That the Holy Spirit would help us see when to continue listening, and when and what to say when someone is discouraged.
- That we would remember and meditate on God’s good and great works when we are deeply discouraged.
