90 Days Of Prayer: Daily Prayer Through PsalmsSample
Read Psalm 57 today.
The psalmist is writing from a cave; yet, where does he take his refuge?
What does the psalmist anticipate God will do?
In spite of his fear, what is the heart response of the psalmist?
Faith lifts us up and creates a passion for the exaltation of God.
As you reflect on this, pray in these ways and any other way the Holy Spirit leads.
- Offer prayers of praise that God is King of Kings and Lord of ALL creation! He is above all earthly perils.
- Pray for those who cry out to God, that they might know that God is a God of compassion and will send out his love.
- Pray for those who are feeling consumed by earthly worries. Pray that they would lay those worries and their souls down to God and draw near to him and take refuge in him, not earthly comforts.
- Pray for faith for the proud, that they may not rely on their own strength. Pray that, rather, they would crawl over life's pitfalls by using their faith as a bridge to God’s power and love.
