Humbled Sample
Jesus reversed the reality of the human condition. From Adam until the day that Jesus gave His life, mankind remained enslaved to Satan because of sin. After being expelled from the Garden of Eden man lost all of his privileges, the greatest one being able to walk with God. After sinning, mankind was not able to enter into the presence of God, but through sacrifices. Satan stole from Adam something that he knew was fundamental to live a life full of peace and joy: a relationship with God, being able to walk with Him, to speak face-to-face with his Creator.
Hence the value of what Jesus recovered. He elevated us to the original status. His sacrifice returned to us the great privilege to walk with God again, at any time and any place, just like Adam and Eve did in the beginning.
God is with us. There are no more barriers to separate us, no limits, nor anything or anyone that can hinder our relationship with God. We can talk to Him at any time and any place. We can count on His help wherever we are. Jesus tore down everything that separated us from God. Now, in Jesus, there is a way open for everyone. Let’s enter that way to live a victorious life.
A marvelous thing that Jesus took back from the devil, through His sacrifice, is the authority he stole from man. That authority now belongs to the Church. All those who believe, those who are children of God, those who walk with Him and take Him by the hand, are recipients of this valuable authority. Jesus recovered what we lost because of sin, and gave it to His Church.
The authority that the Church, as the Body of Christ, has received is far greater than anything we could imagine, for hell itself could not prevail against it.
In the unity of the Body of Christ, we find the greater authority that will make the world of darkness succumb. When we are in agreement, we can restrain anything dominating the spiritual world to change the reality in the realm of this world. We have the authority to bind the devil and all his armies and to release the abundant supernatural blessings of God upon our lives.
