Becoming A Connected FatherSample
Day 8: Wrapup & Review
So, now you’ve learned six (6) strategies within the categories of leadership, communication and training.
I trust you’ve been encouraged and challenged over these last few days. Imagine walking around, not feeling prideful, but confident that you were doing what God calls you to do as a husband and father. We think by reading this plan, you’re on the right track. Let’s recap all you’ve learned so far:
LEADERSHIP
Here we talked about managing our time and setting the right example.
2 Timothy 3:16-17: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
COMMUNICATION
This is where we looked at ways to get our kids talking, much of this area hinged on our listening skills and asking them great questions
Proverbs 20:5: The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.
TRAINING
On these reading days, we talked about being unified in your marriage and seeking to engage hearts.
Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
We’re committed to helping you become The Connected Father you want to be—that God wants you to be.
