The Basic Training Challenge – Mail CallSample
Day 1 — Aim High
Pray:
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read: Romans 8:1-39
Reflect
We aim high because, once we belong to Christ, we are empowered with the Holy Spirit’s strength. We are free from the bondage of darkness and the shackles of sin. Freedom means momentum, and we are free to soar as high as the Holy Spirit allows. On what should we keep our minds focused? When we go through hard times, what promise does Paul offer us (v.28)? Can God do anything about our problems? Can anything separate us from the love of Christ?
Respond
Lord, I want to aim high. I want to join You in Your mission. Please show me the direction You want me to go. Amen.

About this Plan
We all need instructions, even marching orders. God’s provides these instructions through a series of letters that we find in the New Testament. The Basic Training Challenge gives you a starting point to learn about God’s mission for you here on earth. Similar to your basic training, this plan will challenge you to get spiritually fit in God’s Word.
