You can try to give your best, and once you are gone, be forgotten. And this is what often happens. So many ministries last only as long as people who started them are involved. Once they are gone the good work they started ceases to exist. Nobody has been prepared to take over.

There is also a better and also the biblical way. You can help others see Christ in you through your devotion and life. You can model to the next generation what it means to follow Jesus and serve Him with our gifts. It inspires people and they will be willing to carry your mission even when you are gone and pass it on to those who will come next.
