1 Corinthians 15:54-57

Devotion: The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ gives us victory over sin and the grave. It is our only hope. Pray today that your friend would know that same hope and that the Lord would use circumstances in his/her life to wake him/her up to the reality of sin, brokenness and death.

Prayer

God, the resurrection is my hope. I believe Jesus rose victorious over Satan, sin and death, and His resurrection was the first fruits of all those who have faith in His work. We, too, will rise again one day! ______________ does not know this same hope. Remind him/her of his/her own mortality, and create an awareness of his/her need for eternal hope. Use the reality of the brokenness of this life and the reality of death to jar ______________ from his/her complacency, and position those who know You to testify to the hope of the resurrection.
