40acts: The Lent Generosity Challenge

DAY 16 OF 47

Integrity means always doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

Choosing to take care of our planet means not only having integrity but being generous to the generations to come, giving them a world that isn’t damaged beyond repair that they can live and flourish in.

When it comes to making greener lifestyle changes, many of us simply don’t imagine we can. We envisage that using a KeepCup in a coffee shop is awkward, that getting around without a car is too hard, or that vegan food is boring. But the benefits to the planet and to our own lives are great, if not crucial.

An easy way to live generously is to live green, helping to create a world that can keep on giving and sustaining people, beyond the limit of our own lifetimes.

About this Plan

40acts: The Lent Generosity Challenge

What if Lent was about giving out instead of giving up? This Bible plan is an adaptation of the full 40acts challenge. Our hope is that as you explore and practice biblical generosity in all areas of your life, you would experience its transformational impact. Each day contains a prompt for one act of generosity on that day's topic, with Sunday reflections summarising the theme of the acts that week.
