YOUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT!

Your thought life is also the gateway to God’s future to your life. The devil might have given you a horrible past, but God gives you a really great future. “I know the thoughts I have for you—to give you a future and to give you a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11) Notice this example of “cause and effect” in the Bible. The "effect" or the result is a great future and a great hope. The "cause" is: thinking God's thoughts.

WE DON’T HAVE TO FIND THE WILL OF GOD. IT WILL FIND US!

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove the good, acceptable & perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

You can’t force yourself into the perfect will of God. It’s done TO YOU. As you renew your mind, you end up living in the will of God. You don’t have to find it. It will find you!

God gives us three stages of His will for our lives: the good will, the acceptable will, and the perfect will of God. We don't start out in the PERFECT will. It's progressive. As we renew our minds to healing promises in Scripture, we will begin to BELIEVE it's God's will to heal us. That's GOOD. As we pray and meditate on these promises, we begin to see healing in our bodies. That's ACCEPTABLE. As we continue to meditate on these scriptures and renew our minds further, we start to see healing in our emotions, our families, and our finances. That's PERFECT or complete. Do you see the progression? This is the same principle in any area of our lives. It's not all at once. So don't get discouraged if you don't see the complete or perfect will of God in some area of your life. Continue to eat the leaves of God's Word, like the caterpillar, and surround your thought life with the cocoon of scriptures. You will soon sprout wings, and be flying into God's purpose for your life before you know it!

It’s been said: Your thoughts shape your decisions. Your decisions shape your actions. Your actions shape your habits. Your habits shape your character. And your character shapes your destiny. You don’t have to focus on changing all of those things individually, because they’re all connected to the root. Changing your thinking produces the domino effect that shapes God’s great destiny and purpose for your life!
