Jesus would be Transfigured, but it would happen in a strange way, like how a seed falls into the ground and is buried and dies. What happens next? The seed grows into a root (the root of Jesse) and flowers into a Tree of Righteousness, the Planting of the Lord. Surely, we will be Transformed in the Twinkling of an Eye, but there is also this process of becoming like Jesus that looks a lot more like a slow and painful death. As the disciples approach Jerusalem, Jesus sends them on ahead to secure a donkey and a room to eat the passover. As Jesus enters the city, his followers make a big commotion, and the rest of the city begins to chime in.
