Be PureSample
Stay pure! Say, "No!" to sins.
1 Corinthians 10:13 teaches us that God gives us a way out when we’re tempted to sin. “A way out” means something we can do instead of choosing the sin we’re tempted with, like saying God’s truth from the Bible, singing a worship song to God, or thanking God for helping us stay pure. When we look for God’s way out first, we can stand up to sin and say, “No!”
Play Draw Together to help you remember 1 Corinthians 10:13, and watch the Verse Motions video so you can share it with your friends!
Draw Together
- Get a piece of paper and something to draw with.
- Write the Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 10:13, across the top of the paper.
- Work together with a friend to draw a picture about 1 Corinthians 10:13.
- Put the picture on the wall so you can remember it!
Tell Someone: If you say God’s truth when you are tempted, will it be easy to say, “No!” to sin every time? Why or why not?
