Brave to encourage the body of Christ
Of all the things we have to think about on a daily basis, thinking of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works is probably low on the list. It might not be on the forefront of our minds, but what if it was? What if we made it a daily goal to consider how we can encourage others, as Paul tells us here?
We can aside our personal to-do lists for a minute so we can see the people in our lives who need to be encouraged. It might be the grocery cashier, a neighbor, a co-worker, or even someone in your own home. Everyone appreciates a kind word of encouragement, and it costs us nothing.
Encouraging someone motivates them to “acts of love and good works,” which means it has a domino effect - an encouraged person is an encouraging person! Thinking of ways to be an encourager is a habit that brings joy to the world. Let’s be brave enough to be encouragers.
Gracious Father, You are my encourager. Help me to be brave to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, open my eyes to the people who need love, help, and support today. Fix my thoughts on ways to motivate others in Your name and for Your glory. Amen.

About this Plan

There isn’t a woman on this earth who doesn’t struggle with fear, doubt, and uncertainty. Yet, through His Word, God lovingly reminds us over and over again not to live our lives in fear. Instead, He commands us to be strong and courageous…maybe even fearless. Why? Because He is with us. Joshua 1:9
