Maybe you didn’t understand why at first, but later, you probably realized they were just trying to keep you safe. Still, there’s something in all of us that just wants to make our own decisions and do our own thing. But rather than try to do things on our own, God urges us to depend on Him with our lives. Sometimes this means giving up what we want to do, but when we realize God only wants what’s best for us, it gets easier.
