CONNECTING WITH GOD

Did you know that God desires to engage with us? He wants to talk to you and He wants you to talk to Him.

Like a father with His children, God wants you to pray and talk with Him. But our prayers aren't just for conversation.  The Bible also tells us that prayer is powerful. Many see prayer as a religious formality that we go through, and many have little to no expectation of a response.  But the truth is that when you pray and talk to Him, He hears you and He responds.

My favorite way to position myself to be able to hear God is through times of worship. Worship creates this incredible atmosphere that opens your heart for God to speak to you and you to Him.

Here’s a quick note on learning to hear the voice of God in your life. First, when I or others say that God speaks to us, sometimes we literally mean that we heard something audible.  But more often, it’s this voice you feel from within you. And the more time you spend in prayer and worship, the more you’ll learn to recognize the voice of God.

Action: Talk to God, pray bold prayers and expect His reply!
