Epic (Part 1): The Storyline of the BibleSample

With the situation getting worse for the people of Israel, they now turn against Moses and God. God repeats the promises He had made to Abraham that we read back in Genesis and lets the people know He still plans to keep those promises.
When things don’t go our way, it is easy to become discouraged. We may question if God is really going to take care of us. It’s interesting that in spite of their questioning, God still commits to keep His promises. We can rely on God, even when times are tough. God can be trusted even when we fail.

About this Plan

This is part one of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
