In Isaiah 58, the Prophet Isaiah explains how God desires our true worship ---- He longs for us to fully yield our hearts to Him and to look out for opportunities to help the hurting. When we desire to please Him above all else, we will experience a deeper intimacy with Him. Hearts that fully delight in Him hear His guiding voice more clearly. As we open every area of our lives to His leading, He pours in the water of His grace to our weary frames.
Are you weary today? Spend a few quiet moments inviting God to refresh your soul. Ask Him to strengthen You, to speak tenderly to Your heart, and to show you which way to go. Sit worshipfully before at the well of your Father and drink deeply.
Lord, I need you to fill me up with more of You. Show me where to turn and give me strength to meet this day. Amen
