It takes complete trust in the Lord to exhibit strength and dignity and be able to laugh at the days to come. Pray for that trust.

At the end of the book of Proverbs we discover that the model of wisdom to emulate is not a religious ‘professional’ but a woman whose faith is shown in her daily life – a woman who ‘fears the Lord’, whose wisdom is demonstrated in her everyday activities of being a wife, a mother, providing for her family, managing her household, engaging in international trade, negotiating the purchase of fields, looking out for the poor, and more besides!
