THE POWER OF HUMILITY (PART I)
When the earthquake caused the prison doors to open, Paul and Silas humbled themselves by refusing to take their freedom and run. In response, the jailer fell trembling before them and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
Never underestimate the power of a humble heart to influence others for the Lord especially your children! We often feel like we have to prove we are right or have everything figured out to gain their respect. We tend to see vulnerability as weakness. However, when we are confident of who we are in Christ, it is much easier to demonstrate humility.
Modeling humility will be much more influential to your kids than hiding behind a false sense of self-sufficiency and perfection.

About this Plan
The purpose of this devotional is to see what God's Word has to say about the parenting challenges every parent faces. Each day includes a passage of Scripture and an application of that passage to the trials and triumphs of leading families to maturity in Christ. The devotionals are created by Parenting by Design, a Fort Worth ministry devoted to teaching parents to lead their children the way God lead His children.
