Is your dream “on hold”?

Do you know Abraham’s story in the Bible? He’s the man God spoke to and said, “‘...I have made you a father of many nations.’” (Genesis 17:5)

At that point in history, Abraham was 100 years old and his wife, Sarah, who was barren, was 90 years old. They had waited for the fulfillment of this word for nearly 25 years…

What’s important when it seems your dream has been put “on hold,” is that you fix your gaze on God.

If He said that He would do it, then He will do it! God is faithful! He is not a liar, a deceiver, or a crook. (see 1 Samuel 15:29) God always does what He says, and He accomplishes that which He promised.

The Bible declares, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3)

When you start to doubt it...pray. Share your doubts, apprehension, and fear with the Lord. Trust Him!

My friend, wait for His answer. God is sovereign in the way He acts. He does things when and how He desires. He knows the right timing. And He will act...that is certain!
