Apparently Paul was so concerned that Timothy pursue the right things that he basically repeats it in the second letter to him. Only this time he adds that we are not to do it by ourselves. You and I were never meant to make our faith journey alone. We need fellow travellers. We need companions on this grace filled pathway called life. You need to get a group of friends who are also calling on the Lord from a pure heart. If you think you are strong enough to walk this path alone, you’ll find yourself off the narrow way before you forget your first assignment for that early class. You need a solid campus based ministry and a solid local church to help you be connected to your faith in college. You need a place to belong!
“Father, I need a group of friends on campus who are going hard after you. I cannot do this alone. Help me know the right group and help me find a local church that will help me grow in my faith during my college years!”

About this Plan
The college years can be an awesome time in a person's life. They can also be a time when believers drift from their faith. The difference is often whether or not one gets connected to other believers, a campus ministry and a local church. This plan will help you explore what God's Word says about getting connected on your campus. If you want to change the world, reach the campus. If you want to reach the campus, make sure there are believers who are anchored to His Word and His Church.
