Discover God's Promises!Sample
God is faithful to His promises
Whom are you willing to trust? For example, if you need someone to watch your child for a day, what would your criteria be when choosing?
To trust someone, you especially need to be sure of that person’s integrity...is this someone who keeps his commitments? Who is as good as his/her word? Who won’t leave you high and dry?
God is Someone utterly faithful...everywhere in the Bible, we can see that He keeps His promises! Let’s soak in these powerful truths:
Isaiah 55:11: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
Jeremiah 1:12: “Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.’” (AMP)
Joshua 21:45: “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”
Do you see? Whatever God says, know that His Word is as good as gold and that He will do what He said. You can rest on His Word. It has come to pass and will come to pass again!
Let’s thank the Lord together: “God, thank You for Your Word that will not return to You void but will accomplish what You please and will prosper in the thing for which You sent it! I believe in Your promises. I trust in Your faithfulness. You will accomplish everything You have said! In Jesus’s name. Amen.”
Thanks for existing!
About this Plan
Have you ever wondered why God makes promises? God found it necessary to commit to man, to give him assurance: in other words, to show him that he can always count on Him. But what do we do to enter into His promises, to fully possess them? This is something we will discover in this reading plan!
