Journey WitnessesSample
Once again we are back in Colossae, and Paul is dealing with the false teachers that had infused Jewish legalism with Greek philosophy and mysticism. Paul’s continued final instructions go beyond just speaking up or just fighting against those luring people away from truth. It is not just what one says, but how it is said.
A person’s speech should be gracious and seasoned with salt. In other words pleasant, attractive, and winsome. Answering another in wisdom requires speaking to outsiders in a way that communicates the teachings of Christ as well as the manner of Christ.
As you continue your journey as a witness for Christ, remember that for some, their first impression of Jesus and introduction to the gospel might be you. And you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

About this Plan
Because ignoring the great commission is not an option. Jesus left us with the great responsibility to go and make disciples, to be witnesses, and to be his hands and feet in this world. Don’t leave something so important to chance. This reading plan is created to help you make disciples who make disciples. Use this reading plan along with the Awana Journey Bible Study book entitled Witnesses.
