Journey WitnessesSample
Up to this point in Chapter 6 of Luke, Jesus has addressed the conduct of disciples and the choices they ought to make. In the last part of the chapter, Jesus shifts His tone slightly. He moves from simply giving one command after another to parables that are descriptive of what it looks like to be a disciple able to disciple another. These two examples Jesus gives help paint a picture of the important relationship between student and teacher.
The first example speaks to the responsibility of the student. They are to learn so that they can teach others. The second example is the responsibility of the teacher to stay sharp and educated. The command here is simple, but important: be careful whom you follow and how people follow you.

About this Plan
Because ignoring the great commission is not an option. Jesus left us with the great responsibility to go and make disciples, to be witnesses, and to be his hands and feet in this world. Don’t leave something so important to chance. This reading plan is created to help you make disciples who make disciples. Use this reading plan along with the Awana Journey Bible Study book entitled Witnesses.
