Romans 8 - Move From Condemned to ConvincedSample
From Condemned to Convinced!
This is your sixth and final day meditating on Romans 8 in this study. I hope, by now, the words and truths of this passage have begun to burrow into your heart.
We began this study by talking about how we feel condemned when we try and base our salvation and assurance on our own actions. If we look to ourselves, we will surely be condemned. If we ask ourselves, “If I,” we will always find condemnation.
However, when, in faith, we look to Jesus, we find assurance. When we ask, “If Christ,” we will always be convinced that nothing can separate us from God because all the work is finished in Jesus.
I want to invite you to read Romans 8 once more. Read it freely. Take your time. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the light of Jesus to you as you read.
Before jumping into your time in Romans 8, I invite you to watch the video that began this whole study again. As you do, let the truth of Jesus’ finished work fight away any remaining feelings of uncertainty and condemnation.
It has been a blessing to spend this time with you. Leave your condemnation behind. It is finished on the cross. Today, step into a life convinced that Jesus has adopted you into an inheritance that gives you assurance.

About this Plan
Christians often feel lacking, insufficient, and second-class. In a word, we feel condemned. This is because, even without noticing it, we are basing our salvation on how well we are performing as Christians. In this short meditation of Romans 8, you will learn how God wants to move you from feeling condemned to feeling convinced that nothing can separate you from the love of God.
