NEXT STEPS: I Met JesusSample
IT'S HOW YOU ASK GOD FOR THINGS
God is our Father that wants us to come to Him and ask Him for the things we need. Let’s take a second to talk about how mighty He is. Most times, people are afraid to ask God for things because they don’t want to be a burden or ask too much. They don’t truly believe that God can do all things, and we make Him extremely small in our minds. God is the Creator of the Heaven and the Earth. When He spoke, all things were created. He has intricately formed us to be different and unique and has created the Earth to function so that if one thing was slightly shifted, then it would crumble. He holds this world in His hands and helps you find your car keys at the same time He is healing someone from an addiction. NOTHING is impossible for God. He is the creator of time and space and can do anything that He pleases. He is the God of miracles!
So, when God wants you to ask Him for things, He means that you can ask for anything! He says to ask anything in His name and He will give it to you. He won’t give you everything you want, but He will give you His very best. In fact, sometimes He gives us what we need by NOT giving us what we ask for. That doesn’t stop us from praying, but our ultimate prayer is His Will be done. God knows what we need and what we desire. Don’t be afraid to dream big and ask for the impossible! When He gives us the impossible that’s how He is glorified!
