MOTION X: Living In MOTION

DAY 27 OF 31

We should expect resistance the moment we decide to go all in with Jesus. If the enemy cannot keep us out of heaven, he will do whatever he can to keep us from being effective on earth. He uses tactics like fear to keep us from living our faith in motion.

It might be the fear of failure, missing out, the future, death or even surrender. Regardless of the package it comes in, it has the same effect. Every time we allow fear to take root, it attempts to paralyze us.

Jesus experienced fear before He went to the cross. He knew what His Father had called Him to do, but it required a great amount of sacrifice. Jesus made a decision to trust God despite His circumstances.

His relationship with God enabled Him to endure the agony of the cross, so that we could all have the gift of eternal life. God will always take our sacrifice and give back more than we could ever imagine. When we feel overwhelmed, we must choose to follow the example of Jesus by humbling ourselves and remembering every time God has proven Himself faithful.

His presence is our refuge and perfect place of safety.  When we run to Him in our distress, His love casts out all fear. The more time we spend with Him, the more we will begin to trust His Word. What the enemy intended to paralyze us with, God will use to propel us into our purpose.  Our God is forever faithful! His promises always stand true.

About this Plan

MOTION X: Living In MOTION

A generation of students who live their faith out day to day would change the world. Living in MOTION starts by learning how God made you, growing in leadership and serving, and by seeing the vision God has for you to make a difference. Living in MOTION was created by Highlands Students, the student ministry of Church of the Highlands to equip students to live every day for Jesus.
