Have you ever watched a sports highlight reel and been amazed? Have you seen a movie that brought you to tears or been moved by a play on broadway?
We all love to see the highlights of life, the triumphant moments that make our jaws drop. However, we often overlook all the little moments that led up to that big moment.
It is very similar to our faith. In order to see God bring an awakening in our generation, we must choose to embrace the simple moments that no one sees.
What if we began praying every day for God to save our classmates and friends? What if we began loving those around us with the love of Jesus, even when they do not deserve it? What if we began to serve in our local church, despite our age?
God uses these little moments to create an impact in our world. God does not need us to be God. He just needs our obedience and faithfulness so that He can move through us in a major way. Awakening comes when God’s people choose to honor Him with even the smallest and simplest things.
