Having the power to make your own choices is awesome. If you are anything like me, when you get to choose who you hang out with, what movie you want to watch, or how much ice cream you can eat, you feel pretty legit! It’s awesome to feel in control of some of the things in your life! But the other side to that is that sometimes being in control is scary. What if a choice we make doesn’t go as planned? What if something we choose causes people not to like us? That’s what makes knowing that we don’t have to walk through any choice alone so great! Regardless of the choices we make—good or bad—God promises to be with us. Today, try to memorize this verse as a reminder that you are not alone. Then, ask God to continue to guide, advise, and watch over you.
