It’s easier to honor our parents when we are on the same page about something, right? When you agree with what they’re asking of you, it’s not so hard to follow the rules! But when we don’t see eye to eye? Well, then it’s especially difficult to honor them! In those moments, isn’t it tempting to roll our eyes and do what we want to do instead?  Scripture makes it clear that honoring our parents is important if we want to live the kind of life God has for us. So even when it’s hard, it’s our job to do our best to honor them. What is one way you can serve a parent or adult in your life this week? Find a way to show them you appreciate them by honoring them in that way.
