Be Unafraid To Be You!Sample
It All Starts with Identity
Friend, you are chosen. You have been set aside. You are divine royalty. You are God’s own. You have a voice and a purpose. You have been called. And you have been saved from the darkness and brought into light to shine!
This is your identity. It’s your proclamation! And it deserves to be spoken into the world as your own personal “I am” declaration. This is truth you need to hold on to, because it defines your authentic self. Let’s read this out loud together. Full voice. Ready? Here we go. . .
I am chosen.
I have been set aside.
I am divine royalty.
I am God’s own.
I have a voice and a purpose.
I have been called.
I have been saved.
And I’m here to shine!
Yes, and amen times infinity and beyond. Want to boil down the essence of who you are? Want to know your identity in a nutshell? Well you just declared it, friend. You just spoke out your authentic self. Boom.
As we try to live real, rarely does grit or grace come without the other. It really does take both to live authentic. It really does matter that we seek truth over feelings. But it all starts with identity. My hope is that you have a clearer picture of who you are, how you were created, and the value in knowing those truths. We simply cannot live genuine lives unless we genuinely know ourselves.
Listen, when we really sink our teeth into the truth that our identity is fully rooted in our Creator, it will change everything. We’ll be stronger in our resolve to be real. We’ll be unshakable in the convictions of who we are—and who we are not. We’ll be faster to reject the untruths that bombard our hearts. And we’ll walk in a new level of peace and confidence.
Pray for God to astound your heart with the reality of your awesomeness. Ask Him to ignite your passion for authenticity. Ask for a desire to pursue the truth of who you are over the life-draining feelings we sometimes subscribe to. And then trust that God will solidify your identity in Him above all else.

About this Plan
We live in a world that says our best self isn’t good enough. Rather than being real, we embrace counterfeit living. We choose acceptability over authenticity, unable to find the grit and grace to shine our unique brand of awesomeness into the world. This impossible treadmill leaves us with deep discontentment and a joyless existence. Let’s link arms and commit to living authentic lives. . . together . Are you ready?
